Pittsburgh
The satellite sites will work in the same way as the main site in Chicago, with full participatory technology. The purpose of the satellite meetings is to engage more people in deliberation in locations beyond Chicago and incorporate their feedback into the overall results. Broad geographical participation will strengthen the impact of the Town Meeting on decision makers. Fifteen satellite sites for up to 50 people each will ensure a total of over 1000 participants across the nation. These satellite sites will watch portions of the town hall meeting via webcast and will participate in the discussions with the help of table facilitators, as in the Chicago central site. The Theme Team will be located in Chicago and analyze entries coming from all tables at all 16 locations (Chicago plus 15 satellites). In addition, all individual polling results from all sites will move through the internet to Chicago and be instantly displayed for all to see the aggregated polling results. *The Pittsburgh site is now full. Please contact Dana M. Monroe at dmonroe@salisb.com or call (724) 463-5390 to put your name on the waiting list. *We are very sorry that this satellite site is full. However, there is still room in Chicago or at our Virtual Town Hall.* |
